Heroin smuggling attempt foiled

Customs, Anti-smuggling Drug Enforcement Cell, aborted an attempt to smuggle heroin worth Rs 10 million abroad and arrested the accused from the Lahore airport.
According to a spokesman of Lahore Customs, Anti-smuggling Drug Enforcement Cell, Inspector Mohammad Ali on suspicion searched luggage of Jamil Ahmed S/o Mohammad Yahya, who was ready to aboard Thai Airways flight TJ-506 for Bangkok and recovered 1kg of high quality heroin from secret parts of his bag.
The total worth of the substance in the international market was not less than Rs 10 million, the spokesman said.
