Notices issued to absentee teachers

Executive District Officer (EDO) Education, Gul Mohammed Hajano has taken serious notice against teachers' absence during his surprise visit to different schools in the city.
The EDO on Wednesday visited Government Boys Primary School, Gizri, Abdullah Shah Government Boys Primary School and Girls School Clifton at 7:30 am, but not a single teacher was present there.
He issued show cause notices to the teachers, who were either late or absent. He directed ADOE Sadder Town to stop one day's salary of the absent teachers and treat their absence as leave without pay.
The EDO warned the teachers to be punctual in the assembly and record their timings of arrival.
He also visited Junior Model Government Girls Secondary School, where the classes were disturbed, due to repair and maintenance works being carried out.
The EDO also visited Government Girls Secondary School Chanissar Village.
After visiting St. Jesus and Mary School he decided to have a detailed inspection of the school and advised the principal, to apply for separate registration for four independent buildings, as required by the Registration Act and Privately Managed Schools Ordinance - 2001, read with Privately Management Act-2004.
