Pakistan supports just struggle of Kashmiris: Shujaat

Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said on Thursday that the government and people of Pakistan fully support the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination.
Addressing a meeting of Senior Muslim Leaguers and Parliamentarians, he asked for full support to President Musharraf's policy of dialogue on all issues including the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
He appreciated the policy of Indian government to continue the process of dialogue initiated by President Musharraf and the former Prime Minister Vajpayee.
Prime Minister said that all major world powers were unanimous that a durable peace in South Asia was only possible by the resolution of the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri briefed the participants on major regional and international issues, particularly the issue of Kashmir.
Kasuri said Pakistan's foreign policy was aimed at creating a peaceful environment so that Pakistan could develop economically and fight the curse of poverty, and to achieve that objective wanted friendly relations with all the countries.
The meeting was attended among others by Chairman Special Committee of the Parliament on Kashmir Hamid Nasir Chatta; PML Secretary General, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed; Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sh. Rashid Ahmed, Minister for Education Zubaida Jalal; Minister for Religious Affairs Ijaz-ul-Haq, Health Minister Nasir Khan besides a number of parliamentarians.
