An International Food Technology Trade Show is being organised from 11-13 October, 2004 at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the sources said.
The organisers claimed that more that 50% space has been booked so far, and hoped the balance space will also be booked within this month.
The main players to participate this show are from India, Iran, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Thailand, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Algeria, Armenia, Australia, Brazil, UK, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Netherlands while other European countries are also participating in this show, the sources disclosed.
They said that Pakistani exporters are also showing keen interest in the show. The organizers' representatives are hopeful that Pakistani exporters can reach the international market as they can exhibit fresh, frozen and dry fruits, vegetables, food and food products, rice, confectionery and packaging products, as there is a vast scope for these products in the Middle East and African countries.
The local representative, Marketing & Promotion Associates (MPA) are booking the space for local exhibitors. The General Manager MPA Faisal Aftab Khan said the people were willing to participate in the show not only to exhibit their products but also to visit.-PR
