Punjab Governor Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) is proceeding on a visit to United States from August 20 to 28.
During his visit, he will attend American Independence Day Parade. Speaker Punjab Assembly Muhammad Afzal Sahi is likely to act as governor during Khalid's tour abroad.
