Freedom car rally held at Gwadar

Visionary Group has arranged Pakistan's first off-road freedom rally to mark the Independence Day at Platinum City of Gwadar.
Asad Khuhro and Syed Umer Qadri of Adam Motors have won the rally.
In category "A", the teams of Asad Khuhro and Mansoor Haleem covered a distance of 75 kilometres within 62 minutes and secured first position.
The Rooni Patel, Parveen Minwala and Saleem Bizenjo, also of the "A" team, covered the same distance in 66 minutes and got second position.
In "B" category, Syed Umer Qadri and Syed Faisal Qadri, also an Adam Motors team, covered the 75-kilometre distance in 77 minutes and got first position. Fazal Ashfaq and Rehan Aziz covered the same distance in 92 minutes and got second position.
The rally was followed by a musical programme. The district government and Pakistan Army have made special security arrangements for the rally.
According to the organisers of the rally, the prize distribution ceremony will soon be in Karachi.
The group further announced that the second rally would be held in October.
