New 5-star hotels in Islamabad allowed 10 stories

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has allowed new 5-star hotels to construct up to 10 stories against five, as in the previous policy.
Source said that CDA board meeting, presided over by Chairman Kamaran Lashari, gave approval of the new policy for 5-star hotels to be constructed in the future.
The source said that according to old construction policy, the 5-star hotels in the federal capital were not allowed to construct more than 5 stories.
Agro-farms issue was also discussed in the meeting and it was decided that permission for establishing Agro-farms would be given to those people who have already acquired 100-kanal land for the purpose.
According to the source, the new policy of the Agro-farms would be prepared within fifteen days.
The source also informed about the changes in biding policy of CDA for commercial and residential plots.
From now on the token money of the bid for commercial plots would be Rs one million instead of Rs 0.1 million as before.
