Pakistan would send flood relief assistance worth Rs 20 million for the brethren of Bangladesh who had been struck by the worst floods in last 15 years.
President General Pervez Musharraf had spoken to Prime Minister Khaleda Zia on July 29 to express the sympathy and solidarity of the government and people of Pakistan on the loss of life and property, said the foreign office spokesman.
The President had offered relief assistance for the flood affected people. Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had also sent a message of sympathy to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on the devastating floods.
