Bosnian president visits Quaid's Mazar

President of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sulejman Tihic, who arrived here on Tuesday, visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on Tuesday morning.
He laid a floral wreath at the Quaid's Mazar and offered Fateha, while Provincial Minister Ali Bux Shah alias Pappoo Shah was accompanied with him on the occasion.
Later, President Sulejman while recording his impressions in the visitor's book, described Quaid-e-Azam as a great leader of Asia who established a separate homeland for Muslims of South Asia. Pakistan was a very important state for Muslim Ummah, he added.
He paid tributes to Quaid-e-Azam on his and on behalf of his country and nation, and prayed for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. President Sulejman was accompanied by members of his entourage, Ambassador and Consul General of Bosnia, Director Foreign Office Tariq Soomro.
Earlier, on arrival at the Quaid-e- Azam International Airport the President Sulejman was given warm welcome by Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Syed Ali Bakhsh Shah alias Pappu Shah, Ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina, high officials, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
