Pakistan condemns Kufa mosque attack

Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan on Thursday expressed dismay and anguish over the Kufa mosque attack.
"Pakistan denounced the bloodshed of Iraqis and has all sympathies with them. Iraqis are passing through a critical juncture of their history," Masood told the PTV.
The desecration of holy places in Iraq has made every Muslim grieved. The sanctity of religious places, especially the shrine of Hazrat Ali, was imperative for all and sundry.
He expressed the hope that soon Iraq would be out from this turmoil and become peaceful, prosperous and stable country.
