Occupied Kashmir High Court Bar Association (KHCBA) has given a call for strike on Friday against the atrocities being carried out by the Indian occupation security forces.
In a statement, the spokesman for the association said, the purpose of the strike was to apprise the peace loving people in the world of the atrocities being carried out on Kashmiris. He added the basic rights of Kashmiris had been grabbed by the government of India.
The spokesman stated that it was the duty of all freedom loving people all over the world to ensure the rights of Kashmiris were provided. He added that the government of India should take steps so that the Kashmir issue was solved once for all, a KT report said on Thursday.
The spokesman demanded the genocide of Kashmiris be stopped, detainees languishing in various jails be set free, all the draconian laws be taken back and the Kashmir issue be resolved according to the wishes of the people.
The spokesman expressed his concern also over the bombing of civilian population and holy places in Iraq.
He asked the Muslims living all over the world to forge a united front against the bombing so that the "evil designs of enemies" were defeated.
