PTCL to change prefixes of two exchanges

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has decided to change the prefix of Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Gulzar-e-Hijri exchanges to provide modern facilities to its customers from September one.
After change of prefix, telephone numbers, which started earlier with 801, 802 and 803, will start with 401, 402 and 403 respectively, while numbers currently starting with 811, 812 and 813 will start with 461, 462 and 463 respectively.
Meanwhile, numbers of Gulzar-e-Hijri telephone exchange, which started earlier with 814 and 815, will start with 464 and 465 respectively from September 1st.
It may be mentioned that the PTCL subscribers can use both (old and new) prefix dialing facility for a short period of time.
