JPMA special edition dedicated to Dr Sarwar Zuberi

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has dedicated special edition of Journal of PMA August to late Dr Sarwar Jehan Zuberi, in which her 18 selected articles has been published having some 32 eminent professionals' comments.
Launching ceremony of special edition was held on Saturday at PMA House Karachi. Health professionals lauded services of Dr Sarwar Zuberi to improve standard of JPMA by making it a journal of international level.
Dr Sher Shah Syed, General Secretary PMA Pakistan praising late Dr Sarwar Zuberi called her an example for medical professionals as she never sought support from anyone in pursuing her career. Her exemplary work gave her recognition everywhere.
Dr Fatima Jawad, Editor JPMA praised her efforts to bring JPMA in front line medical journal of country and said she learnt a lot from her.
Dr Badar Siddiqui, President PMA Sindh, said she gave an identification to JPMA and now it has become most circulated journal in medical community.
Dr Dil Mohammad Mirza of PMA Punjab said she did a great work and hoped that new generation of medical professionals would continue to take guidelines from her work. Dr Baseer Achakzai, General Secretary, PMA Quetta, said she always encouraged juniors.
Professor Tipu Sultan of Civil Hospital Karachi called her a role model and emphasised the need to follow her work. Dr Naeem Jaferi of Ziauddin Medical University also spoke.
