Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan has said his government was spending 33 percent of the total budget on health and education sectors.
Addressing a foundation stone laying ceremony here, on Sunday, he said the state government would set up basic health units (BHUs) in every tehsil of the region so that the masses could have an easy access to the basic health facilities.
The premier laid the foundation stone of a district headquarter hospital in Chak Dhamni, a beautiful town on the outskirts of Rawlakot.
The AJK Prime Minister said his government was initiating development projects solely on the basis of welfare of the people.
He said that he was offering co-operation to every one including his opponents and assured that the development projects would be launched without any discrimination and bias.
Sikandar said he wanted to see the state a progressive and welfare state and all available resources would be utilised for this purpose.
