China sees growing economic ties with Pakistan

China hopes that its decades' old partnership with Pakistan will further grow particularly in the economic field, after the election of Shaukat Aziz as new Prime Minister.
Welcoming the election of Shaukat Aziz, a spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Office said: "Sino-Pakistan friendship is ever-green and is getting stronger and stronger with the passage of time."
Talking to APP, the spokesman said Pakistan and China always worked side by side in regional and international affairs. Their relations, he added enjoyed the confidence and trust of their people.
He said: "The Chinese leadership is looking forward to develop personal contact with the new prime minister for furthering their bilateral ties."
He noted their relations have improved a lot in political and economic fields in the recent years.
