Chinese Prime Minister greets Shaukat

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao has greeted Shaukat Aziz, the newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, and expressed hope that under his guidance Pakistan would achieve success in socio-economic fields.
The Chinese premier in his message said: "China honours its traditional friendship with Pakistan and is pursuing a policy to establish friendly and brotherly ties with the neighbouring countries," Radio China reported.
Pakistan and China have a long history of warm and friendly relations, he said.
"The Chinese government wants to further enhance co-operation with Pakistan in different sectors through mutual co-operation and harmony in various regional and international issues to create a new spirit in the already friendly relations," he said.
The Chinese premier said, "the friendship between the two countries is an example for neighbouring countries."
