Five-year plan: feedback from trade bodies sought

01 Sep, 2004

Trade bodies have been advised to immediately forward necessary feedback/inputs relevant to the private sector on the observations, recommendations and proposed action by the first meeting of Planning and Development Division's Working Group on "services" for the Five-Year Plan 2005-10.
The meeting, presided over by Planning Commission's former Chief Economist, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed, was held in Islamabad early this month.
The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has asked its standing committees' chairmen to furnish input, feedback, recommendations, proposals, and suggestions for onward submission to Planning and Development Division.
In view of the importance of the subject, the FPCCI emphasised on all chairmen to make use of the opportunity and call meetings of their respective committees to formulate suggestions to be recommended to the Planning and Development Division for consideration in the Five-Year plan.
