Shaukat urged to shun politics of hatred

01 Sep, 2004

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz should pursue the politics of accommodation and tolerance by shunning the politics of conflicts and hatred if he vows to take along the Opposition.
Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, MNA and PML-N central leader, expressed these views in a statement here on Tuesday.
Malik further said that component parties of the ARD have deep insight in to the political and national affairs. "The Opposition would never lag behind in supporting the steps that were in the supreme national interest," he added.
According to him, the PM should review the on-going composite talks with India and Pakistan should not adopt apologetic attitude on Kashmir in the forthcoming Foreign Ministers moot in September 5 and 6.
