This was stated by President TACCI, Haji Ghulam Ali while talking to Business Recorder here in his office on Wednesday. He said that the industrialists and traders of the tribal belt would attend the proposed grand tribal convention and Prime Minister would be invited through the elected parliamentarians from Fata and Pata.
Welcoming the election of Shaukat Aziz as the country's premier, The TACCI President said that for first time in the history of Pakistan a businessman had become a Prime Minister, who had spent a long period of his life in financial institution.
Haji Ghulam Ali was confident that after Shaukat Aziz's election as the Prime Minister he would fully utilise his capabilities for development and progress of the country.
He recalled that Shaukat Aziz during his first speech in the National Assembly thanked parliamentarians from Fata and had assured them full co-operation in the resolution of their problems.
In the light of such assurances and co-operation, the Prime Minister would definitely announce a special relief package for promotion of industries and trade in both Fata/Pata. Furthermore, he said that the new government would also announce special relief in duties and taxes for a particular time period to eliminate poverty and backwardness from their area.
He said that industrial and trade development in the tribal belt was impossible without announcing incentive package.
Haji Ghulam Ali expressed the hope that the new Prime Minister would visit backward areas of the tribal belt in first instance and would go to make special announcement for the redressal of their grievances and problems.
TACCI was established about four months ago by the traders and industrialists of Fata/Pata and in this connection federal government issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
