Cheema greeted on appointment as federal minister

Mushtaq Ali Cheema, a prominent member and former chairman of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) has been appointed federal minister in the new cabinet.
Congratulating the new minister, Ahmad Kamal Chairman Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (former APCEA) said here on Wednesday that the PTEA has emerged as leading trade body of the country by achieving the highest export of $1 billion in textiles by its members and having four MNA members and now a federal minister from its members.
He said that it was singular honour that 22 members of the Association have won export merit trophies and four members of the Association have been declared businessmen of year over the last four years.
Ahmad Kamal said that within a short history of 20 years existence the Association won big laurels giving pride and honour to members.
Ahmad Kamal expressed hope that with the induction of Mushtaq Ali Cheema as federal minister, the textile exporters would strive to achieve greater glories in field of textile exports and in the service of business community and in the service of the country.
He thanked President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for giving representation to Faisalabad in federal ministry and inducting Mushtaq Ali Cheema as minister.
