ETO earns Rs 3 million by auctioning special numbers

The Excise and Taxation Office (ETO) Rawalpindi region has earned a record Rs 3 million by auctioning 136 special numbers of new RLA series for motor vehicles in the region.
The numbers were auctioned in an open auction in which people in a large number took part and show enthusiasm in attaining special number out of 136 special numbers of the RLA series of Rawalpindi region.
The auction started at 11 am and continued up to 7 pm and a huge rush of people interesting in attaining the special numbers was seen outside the ETO office.
By auctioning 136 special and attractive number the ETO Rawalpindi region has earned a record Rs 3.048 million and topped in the province.
In the auction, held at the office of the Excise and Taxation Office and was supervised by ETO Chaudhry Saleem and other officials of Excise and Taxation Department, the first number RLA was auctioned worth Rs 330,000. RLA-7 was auctioned for Rs 100,000, while RLA-100 for Rs 65,000, RLA-786 for Rs 60,000.
It may recall that during the auction of special numbers in previous serial ETO earned Rs 848,900 while in this serial the figure is manifold higher than the previous and highest in all over Punjab.
