PML being reorganised: Punjab chief minister

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi presiding a high-level meeting on the organisation of the party here on Friday has said that Pakistan Muslim League was being reorganised to ensure public participation in the process of development and reforms, introduced in different sectors of the province.
He said the workers' consultation was being given due importance in framing welfare-oriented projects.
The chief minister said workers, a valuable asset of the party were rendering great service to strengthen the party.
He dilated that PML Government was playing a vital role to achieve the objective of poverty alleviation, economic progress and political stability in the country.
He urged the party workers to join the efforts of government for implementing reforms and dispensing justice to the common man. He said a consolidated strategy had been put in place for the uplift of backward areas on priority basis.
He assured that PML government was determined to achieve socio-economic progress and prosperity and extend the benefits to the people at grass root level.
