Recruitment in police department in two weeks

Sindh Home Minister Abdul Rauf Siddiqui has said ban on recruitment in Police Department would be lifted in next two weeks saying jobless people of Sindh would be provided jobs on merit ensuring transparency in the process.
He disclosed it while speaking to journalists in his office on Saturday. He felt that lifting of ban on recruitment in Police Department would help in efforts to eliminate unemployment in the province.
He opined that ban should not be imposed in recruitment in police Department because increase in strength of police force was must to maintain law and order and curbing the crimes.
Provincial Minister informed that suggestions of substantial increase in salaries of police personnel were under consideration and hoped that their salaries would be increased equal to Punjab Police soon to perform their duty honestly.
"Police is being organised on modern lines to deal with major threats," he told adding that a separate hospital was being established to provide better health facilities to police personnel.
Rauf Siddiqui said that patrolling of police parties was being intensified in cities and areas of interior Sindh to ensure protection of lives and properties of people; that would be kept supreme at all cost.
