Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP), on Sunday staged a protest demonstration against the demolition of the Lahore High Court Building here outside Lahore Press Club.
The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans. They demanded that the building should not be demolished. They said the building is one of the most important and culturally significant on the Mall.
Principals National College Arts (NCA), Sajida Vandal, Chairperson IAP, Imrana Tiwana, Vice Chairperson Ayesha Noorani, Head of Architects Department NCA Fauzia Qureshi and other architects participated in the protests.
