Torrential rains have triggered landslides and flash floods that have killed 19 people and injured 40 in China's western province of Sichuan, state media said on Sunday.
The Xinhua news agency, citing provincial disaster relief officials, also said 21 people were missing after rains swept northern and eastern reaches of the province continuously from Thursday to Saturday, causing "mountain torrents, mud-rock flows and landslides in over 20 counties".
