Eight water filter plants for Fatehjang soon

Tehsil Nazim Fatehjang Sardar Iftikhar Khan has said his first priority was to ensure provision of clean drinking water to the residents of Fatehjang and all out efforts were being made in that regard.
This he said while talking to APP here on Monday. He further said the government of Punjab had given approval for eight water supply schemes in Fatehjang and for the purposes funds of more than 15 million had been released.
He said eight water filtration plants were being installed in Fatehjang at the cost of Rs 7.5 million to provide clean drinking water to the masses.
Khan further said Fatehjang was the only tehsil in Punjab where IESCO had established customer services centre which had been already made operational and now problem regarding electricity connection and bills were being solved near to their houses.
