The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) would extend every possible help to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), to halt the accelerating destruction of our natural world.
This was stated by LCCI President, Mian Anjum Nisar, while talking to Richard Garstang, Conservation Advisor, WWF (Pakistan).
Richard Garstang, who remained with the LCCI President for quite some time, discussed ways and means to disseminate the WWF message to the society in general and the business community in particular. He was of the view that the Chamber is the right forum, to educate the people about the conservation of nature.
Anjum Nisar said that every person is socially and morally bound to take care of nature and added the LCCI members would co-operate with WWF in every way in finding solutions to crucial environmental problems as over the course of its 41 years history.
He also gave a number of proposals to the WWF officials to educate the people to halt the accelerating destruction of natural resources.
Richard Garstang, who was accompanied by his marketing co-ordinator, Zainaria Ali Paul, lauded the LCCI Chief for putting up suggestions for the promotion of WWF mission.
