Suicide trend increasing alarmingly

More than 700 people have committed suicide in the country during the first seven months of the current year to escape various problems, mostly economic, they were facing, while 400 people have attempted to suicide.
According to a report the figure is showing the upward trends in the suicides in the country as people are facing various social and economic problems.
Unemployment and poverty remained main cause of suicide among people as more than 700 men and women committed suicide during past seven months.
The ratio of suicide among female remained about 40 percent as 226 women have committed suicide during this period.
The people who committed suicide to escape from their problems were from the age group of 15 to 70, report said.
During one month from May 25 to June 25 more than 111 people have committed suicide.
