Punjab Food Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal has said that monitoring teams have been constituted in the province, to ensure provision of wheat flour to the people at prescribed rate.
While addressing a meeting here on Thursday Iqbal said that flour mills owners would not be allowed to increase atta price on their own. "Flour mill owners or shopkeepers involved in black marketing would be taken to task," he warned.
He averred that sufficient flour was being supplied to other provinces according to their requirements.
He said that the government was trying to provide maximum facilities to the people and it has ensured the food security and supplying quality wheat flour to the people.
