No rise in Fiat tractors price

Chief Executive Officer of Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd (AGTL), manufacturer of Fiat tractors in Pakistan, Parvez Ali, has announced that there will be no raise in the prices of Fiat tractors in the near future.
He made the announcement while addressing a gathering at a technical seminar organised jointly by Shell and AGTL, said a press release issued by Al-Ghazi Tractors here on Friday.
Punjab Minister for Agricultural Marketing Qasim Noon attended the function as chief guest. Parvez Ali claimed that Al-Ghazi Tractors was the only automobile company in Pakistan that had not raised its prices since August 1998.
He said honouring the agricultural packages and governments resolve to boost the agri sector. Al-Ghazi Tractors has pledged not to increase the Fiat tractors prices. He also announced that the company would soon launch the new Holland brand of 100hp range tractors of the last technology from the CNH, the world's largest tractor manufacturer.
Speaking on the occasion, Qasim Noon, lauded the Al-Ghazi's resolve not to raise the selling prices of tractors.
