Drawback reduced

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has reduced duty drawback on the export of head guard or protectors for boxing from September 10, 2004.
The duty drawback has been reduced on the export of head guards or head protectors (for boxing) from 4.63 percent of the fob value to 2.97 percent of the fob value.
The CBR has amended standard SRO 413(I)/2001 through a notification issued on Saturday.
The imported raw material includes artificial leather PU or PVC and valcro tape.
The CBR has used powers under clause (c) of section 21 of the Customs Act, 1969 to implement the decision.
