NAB advises against buying accused persons' properties

The National Accountability Bureau has notified for the information of general public that the case of Asif Haroon, son of Haroon, who is son-in-law of Aziz Memon, is already under trial in Accountability Court at Karachi and since he has absconded and is living in USA, the NAB has contacted the Interpol to bring him to Pakistan.
In a statement issued to the press on Sunday by Lieutenant General Munir Hafiez, Chairman, NAB, stated that one case is already under investigation against his brother, Waseem Haroon, and soon the same would be transferred to the concerned Accountability Court.
The statement further said that there are some properties in Karachi, which the absconded accused are trying to sell. Therefore, the general public has been advised not to purchase any such property and rather inform the NAB on phone, e-mail or fax, if anyone has any information in this regard so that necessary steps could be taken, it said.
