Bears remained in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs amid decrease in index. The ISE network index was minus by 132.55 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,412.57 to 11,280.02 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,118,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,417,600 shares.
Total 125 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (92) closed in negative territory, 31 showed plus signs, while two companies remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 784,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,191,700 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 176,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 87,000 shares. The volume of Pak Oilfields was 88,200 shares as compared to previous turnover of 64,900 shares.
