The Bangladeshi taka eased slightly on Wednesday on demand for the US dollar for import-related payments, dealers said.
The taka was quoted at 59.37/59.42 per US dollar, against 59.36/59.43 on Monday.
Interbank transactions were suspended on Tuesday after authorities shut the market due to severe rain.
Call rates ranged between 4.25 percent and 6.5 percent against 4.0 to 6.5 percent on Monday.
