'Saudi Arabia and Vietnam among flouters of religious freedom'

The US State Department for the first time named close ally Saudi Arabia as well as Eritrea and Vietnam "countries of particular concern" in its annual report on international religious freedom, released Wednesday.
It accused Riyadh of backing anti-Jewish and anti-Christian campaigns and torturing non-Muslims and accused Vietnam of pressuring ethnic-minority Protestants to recant their faith, while also beating up religious believers.
