I have read a letter in your paper by Mohammad Haroon Usman.
It is correctly mentioned in the letter that Habib Bank Ltd is charging markup on markup from the borrowers without any reason.
The State Bank of Pakistan has miserably filed to protect people and businesses from the financial institutions, which keep improper accounts for the borrowers.
Moreover, Habib Bank placed the name of such clients without proper verification in the CIB list no accounts were checked and therefore many known textiles mills are in the defaulters' list of CIB.
It is suggested that State Bank may appoint a team of auditors who can verify/check markup on markup imposed by bank to the borrowers and they are not refunded or adjusted which need the attention of the State Bank of Pakistan.
