The government will take measures for continuity of policies with maximum incentives and facilities to ensure growth in economic and other related sectors.
This assurance was given by a number of federal ministers and ministers of state while addressing a dinner reception hosted by Pakistan Muslim League Federal Capital President Dr Muhammad Amjad here at his residence.
PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was the chief guest but because of health problem he could not attend the reception.
PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed speaking on the occasion said PML government had taken adequate measures to provide maximum facilities, incentives and protection to the business community.
He said government was working on three challenges including provision of economic achievements fruits to common man, reviving confidence of the business community and involvement of overseas Pakistanis in the development of country.
Senator Mushahid Hussain said expatriates had always played important role in the development of many countries like China, India, Malaysia, therefore the government had decided to provide maximum incentives and benefits to the overseas Pakistanis.
He further said at present there were more than 7.4 million Pakistanis working in different countries and playing important role in Pakistan's economy with their remittances.
Mushahid said all countries in the region were willing to have good economic and political relations with Pakistan, therefore, the business community should take full advantage of the situation to improve their business activities in the region.
"PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is giving guidelines to the government and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, who is an economic expert and has been implementing them for the benefit of country, people and business community," said Senator Mushahid.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Ejaz-ul-Haq, Minister of State for Finance Omer Ayub, Minister of State for Interior, Dr Shahzad Wasim, Advisor to Prime Minister on finance Dr Salman Shah, newly elected President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zuhair Malik, Vice President of FPCCI Sohail Altaf and the host Dr Muhammad Amjad also spoke on the occasion.
