The accountability court has charge-sheeted accused Muhammad Ayaz, clerk SP Skardu and his agent Tufail for inflicting huge loss to the national exchequer through bogus registration of non-customs-paid vehicles.
After the preliminary hearing of the case, AC No 1 Judge Manzoor Hussain charge-sheeted the accused here last Friday.
It was stated in the charge-sheet that accused Ayaz and his agent Tufail by misusing the official position used the bogus registration of the non-customs-paid vehicles, and caused millions to the national exchequer.
The accused denied the allegations levelled in the charge-sheet, while the judge has adjourned the court till September 29, and asked the prosecution to produce the witnesses against the accused.
