Commander Turkish Naval Forces Admiral Ozden ORNEK, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan, on Monday visited Naval Headquarters here. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Shahid Karimullah received the guest on arrival.
A smartly turned out contingent of the Pakistan Navy in a ceremonial dress presented him the guard of honour.
He took the salute and reviewed honour guard. Admiral Shahid Karimullah then introduced the visiting dignitary to the principal staff officers at the Naval Headquarters.
Later, the Turkish commander called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office.
He also attended a briefing on the present regional maritime scenario vis-à-vis the Pakistan Navy's role.
Thereafter, the Turkish naval chief called on Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat.
