To facilitate Pakistanis traveling to India, the largest private airline of operating in India - Air Sahara Limited - has appointed M/s Venus Aviation (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of Aero Asia International Airlines, as general sales agents in Pakistan.
This agreement was signed in Mumbai by Adnan E. Tabani, executive director of Aero Asia International and K. Damodaran, vice-president, marketing and sales, of Air Sahara Ltd.
While talking to press Adnan Tabani has said that this agreement will facilitate travellers of Pakistan visiting India as presently PIA and Air India are connecting only Mumbai and Delhi.
The execution of agreement will enable Pakistanis to book their seats for different destinations of India in Pakistan which can further relieve Pakistanis from the hassle of carrying cash to meet travel needs in India.
Air Sahara has began its operations in December 1993, its fleet includes B737-700s and B737-800s and fleet of seven Canadian regional jets offering 119 flights with 11,800 seats on daily basis and covering local destinations of Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Luckhnow, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, etc.
Tabani further said that this agreement will not only facilitate intending Pakistani travellers but will also contribute our share in the endeavours of government for normalising relations between two countries.-PR
