'Pakistan and India show flexibility towards disputes'

The joint statement issued by President General Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after their meeting on the sidelines of UNGA, was reflective of flexibility and resolve to settle all outstanding issues through composite dialogue.
Press Secretary to the President, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Shaukat Sultan made these remarks while talking to GEO Television on Monday.
"The statement shows flexibility from both the sides and resolve to progress in the initiated dialogue process," he said.
He said President was of the view that "we are heading towards the meaningful dialogue with open-mind and heart."
During the meeting, the President found the Indian Prime Minister sincere in resolving all outstanding issues, Shaukat Sultan said.
He expressed the hope that the composite dialogue process would make progress in positive manner and the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir between the two countries would be resolved through meaningful dialogue.
