Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot to appear before the court on October 6 along with the report submitted to him by a panel of investigators in the matter pertaining to killings of four judges of subordinate judiciary in Sialkot jail.
The court passed these orders during the course of proceedings in a petition filed by Ghulam Abbas Bokhari father of one of the victims of the incident, civil judge Sheharyar Bokhari.
The petitioner has prayed to the court to transfer the case from Anti Terrorist Court (ATC) to the High Court. The court had already directed the ATC not to announce its final verdict till the disposal of the petition pending before the court.
