Red Hat offers linux training, certification plan

Red Hat, the world's leading provider of open source, announced on Monday that Techno-ed would be offering its Linux training and acclaimed Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) programmes throughout Pakistan.
The programmes will extend the scope of professional training opportunities available to Linux systems and software professionals and position them to take greater advantage of the expanding Linux marketplace.
"We are focusing on expanding our reach to key countries in the sub-continent, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh," said the Director, Red Hat India, Javed Tapia.
"Pakistan, being an emerging market, presents immense opportunity for Red Hat," he said, adding "Techno-ed has the ability and market knowledge to assist us in achieving our long-term strategy for Pakistan.
"Techno-ed and its other group companies have been providing high end information technology (IT) training services for the past several years", said Techno-ed General Manager Ubaid Ansari.-PR
