Government to start free education in all CDA schools

The government would soon start imparting free education in all schools of the Islamabad Capital Territory (CDA) from class I to class X to enhance literacy rate.
Federal education minister, Lieutenant General Javed Ashraf Qazi (Retd) made this statement while presiding over a high level meeting here on Tuesday.
Javed Qazi said that he would soon announce provision of free education in all the schools of the Islamabad Capital Territory from class I to class X.
He was hopeful that this move would help in enhancing the current literacy rate and making education accessible to all.
The minister further said that he was also planning to start technical and vocational education classes in the educational institutions of the country from middle level to produce skilled manpower.
Qazi told the meeting that his top priority would be technical education to ensure jobs for the students, which would help in reducing unemployment and alleviate poverty from the country.
