NWFP Governor Lieutenant General Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah (Retd) has described the scheduled visit of NWFP cricket team to New Delhi on reciprocal basis as a good beginning to promote the game as well as better understanding at people to people level and advised members of the team to demonstrate sportsman spirit in the field in the true sense of the word.
Talking to members of the team who are accompanied by its Chief de Mission Malik Naveed and Deputy Chief de Mission Malik Asad as well as Manager Amjad Aziz Malik called on him at Governor's House here on Saturday, the Governor also stressed upon them to be conscious of their attitude and keep the prestige of the country at the highest esteem.
While expressing best wishes for the team the governor expressed confidence that their performance would be quite good and become a source of encouragement for the sportsmen as well as fans of cricket in both the countries.
