Cricket lovers throng to buy tickets

There is great rush for tickets for the October 6 first one-day international between Pakistan and Sri Lanka to be played here at the National Stadium.
While all the Rs 500 tickets for 1,400 seats have been sold out, 50 percent tickets of Ps 100 and Ps 50 denominations had been sold out by 10-30 am on Monday.
This was stated by Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan at a press conference, which was also addressed by Provincial Minister for Sports and Chairman Organising Committee, Qamar Mansoor.
He said that tickets are being sold at 14 outlets including 11 of Al-Falah Bank and one each at Landhi, Korangi and Malir where there is no Al-Falah bank branch.
The Sports Minister Qamar Mansoor informed that there will be no sale of tickets at the stadium on the day of the match.
