LHC sets aside orders of District Co-ordination Officer

07 Oct, 2004

Lahore High Court (LHC) set aside the orders of District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Faisalabad withdrawing his prior orders, allowing stage drama without hearing the petitioner.
The petitioner Raja Shahzad contended before the court that the respondent DCO had allowed the petitioner to arrange dramas in Faisalabad but the respondent withdrew the permission without hearing him.
The court, after hearing the petitioner's counsel Rao Munawar Khan at length, disposed of the petition and directed the respondent to reconsider his orders after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
