The Ring Road Lahore project would be completed at a cost of Rs 20 billion within a period of one and half year while approach roads would be constructed at a cost of Rs three billion.
District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood revealed this while addressing the District Council meeting here on Wednesday.
The meeting also accorded approval to the 20-year Lahore Master Plan, which would be completed at a cost of Rs 58.1 billion, adding a graveyard would also be established at Hudiara at a cost of Rs 200 million.
He said the union council of rural area would be provided water supply facilities, provided they contributed at least 20 percent of the total expenditures.
Some of the members proposed establishment of technical colleges in the city and asked the Nazim to include it in the Master Plan.
