Arrangements for Zimbabwe and Lanka match finalised

The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was handed over to the Police and other law enforcement agencies for the Saturday (October 9) and Monday (October 11) One-Day-Internationals.
The arrangements for the triangular series match being played between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanks on Saturday in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium have been finalised and a foolproof security network was establish to avoid any untoward incident during the match.
The Zimbabwe team arrived in Rawalpindi on October 5, while the Sri Lankan team reached here on Thursday after playing their first game of the tour in Karachi.
Two teams spent a busy day in net practice at the ground.
The District Government has also finalised the security arrangements for the October 9 encounter. Screening gates were installed at all entrances of the stadium.
The District Government and the Pakistan Cricket Board have asked the spectators to follow the directions of the government during the matches on October 9 and 11. No electronic appliances, handbags, mobile phones, cameras, cigarettes and edibles would be allowed in the stadium.
The ticket holders would be allowed inside the ground after having been thoroughly searched.
