Inhumanity all around - I

The way man sheds the blood of another man is proving the mistrust which was expressed by the angels at the time of placing Adam as Khalifa on the earth. In this context, the Holy Qura'n refers to Surah 30 of Al-Baqar which says: "And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a Khalifa on the earth, they said: Wilt Thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I know that which ye know not".
Why does man run after the nasty acts of the Devil, although Allah orders that he should do such acts that may result in the overall well being of human race not only in this world but also in Hereafter? To me, its simple answer is that man by nature is simpleton and falls easily victim to the allurements of his rival (the Satan). When Adam (who was the first prophet of Almighty Allah) could not keep his enemy at a distance in the heaven and soon fell into the trap, which was laid for him by Satan.
That is, how can his progeny be able to give a wide berth to the false allure of a life of luxury, which he arranges with great care for those human beings that follow him? He spares no efforts in making God-fearing people suffer hell on earth. He himself does not unleash a reign of terror on mankind but for this purpose he uses man as a kind of crutch because of having a tremendous hold over him. So, man commits atrocities on his innocent people in return for amenities of life, which Satan guarantees. At the time of committing cruelties, man forgets that he will have to answer for his crimes one day. Does he not realise that one man's loss is another man's gain, while he tries to have it by unfair means? If he were not easy prey for the lust of power, he would have certainly not entrapped/caught in the machinations of Satan.
As things stand, the aim of leading man's life was not as the present-day humankind has understood. In verse 56 of Surah Azzariat (The Winnowing Winds) Almighty Allah describes His purpose of creating jinn and man: "I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me." Again, in the verses 16 to 19 of Surah Al-Aala (The Most High) the Holy Qura'n says: "But ye prefer the life of the world, although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Lo: This is in the former scrolls, The Books of Abraham and Moses." Despite being clear and transparent teachings of Almighty Allah, the human race in general and Muslim Ummah in particular are not prepared to lead their life as per the Divine message.
Whatever the cat and mouse play being played with humanity these days in the name of peace is beyond one's wits. Loosely speaking, every country longs for peace, but is not ready to play such a role that may result in bringing about the real peace. None can deny this fact that whichever religion saw the light of the day tried hard to provide necessary message of peace to door-to-door, house-to-house and country-to-country. But its opponents left no stone unturned in sabotaging the peace efforts whenever made by peacemakers.
It is true that much innocent blood is spilt in war. If some one thinks that peace can be achieved through force, he certainly lives in a fool's paradise. Mostly Muslim countries incur their greater part of yearly budget on the purchases of arms and ammunitions, but still their security is vulnerable to foreign aggression. That is, no country can promise permanent peace with certainty to its people from the purchased weapons.
Whatever much drama being staged now-a-days in connection with peace seems to be a mere farce. Everyone (irrespective of race, creed or colour) has a right to lead a life of happiness and prosperity. It is no good that the citizens of the rich countries may prosper by leaps and bounds at the expense of their counterparts in the poor countries. Though it is a natural phenomenon that when men's inhumanity to other men has gone beyond the set limits, they rise up against those who commit atrocities/cruelties on them.
Wherever some one casts an eye, he finds Muslims bearing full brunt of their rivals. Its main reason is nothing else but they themselves. They have divided into two groups-ruled and ruling class. There is no doubt that the ruling class consists of those who hail from abroad by obtaining their higher education (it is said) either from the British or the American educational institutions or to those who assume the responsibility of their heads of public institutions after putting in so many years service in IMF/World Bank, etc. That is the reason its sympathies are with the Western people. It has made its people only as its means of wealth.
It not only forces them (the ruled) into working hard at extremely low wages but it has also made them put on the work of repaying foreign debt which it so often borrows from international loan giving agencies. It stands to reason that the position of the ruled is not less than a slave. It irks me to see their wealth being wasted. It should have been spent on the alleviation of the poverty of their majorities. Instead, their rulers siphon off this wealth and send it into their accounts abroad.
Americans live thousands of miles away from the people of Afghanistan and Iraq. How could they expose them to danger, while they lacked in all kinds of technologies? The world knows that their heads of government did not attach any importance to Americans in regard to running the affairs of their countries. That is, they wanted the puppet governments in Afghanistan and Iraq as they have had such type of government installed in each and every Muslim or under developing country. The usurpation of their resources may have been another cause of annexing these countries.
It is said that giving a right to its rightful heir is tantamount to doing him a good turn. If some one does not do so, it may do more harm than good. The same applies to the countries. If USA goes out of Afghanistan and Iraq, the war like atmosphere, which is existing in these countries on account of their forcible annexation will automatically end in smoke. If India realises the gravity of the situation in Kashmir and becomes ready to give right of self-determination to Jammu and Kashmir people, there will prevail peace in the whole region.
Similarly if Israel obeyed the laws of peaceful coexistence, there would be no suicide bombing in its territory. Both Israelis and Palestinians would cultivate relations and try to live like good neighbours.
If Russia allowed freedom to Chechnya in real terms, there would have been no massacre of humankind in its territory, while she had already given the same status to her other states. On the one hand, a fierce war is being fought the world over with the terrorists for the sake of peace, and on the other, the destructive weapons running into billions of US dollars are being sold out to such countries that have no serious qualms in violating the human rights. If they are really eager for peace, why do they manufacture such arms that create havoc amongst the human race?
There also reside Muslims. It is time that Muslim rulers open their eyes and seriously think over the evil designs, which America and British have had against the Muslim World.
